Adrian Thomas: Celebrating four years with SQ4S

At SQ4S, we pride ourselves on celebrating the success of our staff, which is why we’re extending a huge congratulations to Adrian Thomas, our Business Development Director, on an impressive four years at the helm of the customer-facing side of the business.

Adrian’s four-year anniversary was the perfect chance to catch up and hear more about his personal career highlights since joining the business and his hopes for the future of SQ4S.

Here’s what Adrian had to say about his exciting journey so far:

“Since joining the SQ4S team, it’s been so rewarding to see the business go from strength to strength. My first highlight is definitely becoming a director within just 18 months of joining the business. From the moment I joined the team, it felt like an excellent cultural fit, and it was fantastic to see my ambitions and commitment to bettering the company recognised in my new position.

“A major highlight from my time with SQ4S has been establishing a national framework agreement, with a national food store chain, assisted by my excellent colleagues. This was the very start of our journey into a variety of ambitious projects, which we’ve followed with plans for additional expansion.

“In keeping with achieving the framework and company expansion, moving office has also presented a significant milestone for SQ4S, signifying growth and how far we’ve come as a business. By moving premises, we’ve been able to significantly bolster the team which has helped us realise our ambitions.

“We’ve been lucky enough to welcome some new faces to the wider team, including Mike Whelan and Michaela Stewart – who will be assisting on a variety of projects over the coming months and will widen the breadth of skills we can deliver as a provider of bespoke Solar PV solutions.

“Finally, it wouldn’t be a true collection of highlights if we didn’t mention some of the stand-out projects we’ve worked on over the past four years.

“Our collaboration on the national framework project has allowed us to work with some excellent M&E consultants, suppliers, and tradespeople, and on a variety of standard and non-standard installations. We’ve completed projects across the breadth of the UK, from Bristol Patchway to Warwick and beyond! Alongside this, we’ve worked on some excellent smaller projects that encapsulate our values and showcase the level of craftsmanship that goes into developing our solutions.

“Overall, it’s safe to say that our successes come down to our strong can-do attitude, and teamwork, which is always front and centre of our work. No day is ever the same at SQ4S, and I truly can’t wait to see where this remarkable journey will take us.”
